What is Lance’s new Radio Shack lingo?

In light of Radio Shack’s announcement of its advertising campaign to rename themselves “The Shack,” it’s time to take a preemptive look at what lingo sports writers will dish up for Lance’s team.

Expect the following:

Shack-Attack. When a rider from Radio Shack goes on the attack.

Shackled. Marking an opposing rider, making sure the tempo is high enough that he is incapable of making an attack.

Shack Up. This occurs when the team rides as a group in the peleton.

Shack Rack. A slang phrase denoting the team hotel/sleeping quarters.

Shack Smack. Talking trash to riders on other teams. Example: “Yo, Schleck, your bike needs training wheels!”

Shack-whack. To knock off or bushwhack a riders from another team. As in “Leipheimer just shack-whacked Franco Pellizotti.”

Shack Slack. How much time the Radio Shack team gives a dangerous breakaway before they begin to reel it back.

Shack Snack. Hitting the feed zone hard.

The Shack Vac. Sucking up the hapless riders in the early breakaway before launching Lance up the mountain.
